In this article, we will formulate a Rangers vs Twins prediction for this MLB game on Tuesday, June 10, at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

Texas Rangers Betting Preview

The Texas Rangers (31-35, 11-22 Away) will end their road trip with this series in Minneapolis. They were swept by the Tampa Bay Rays but responded with a series win over the Washington Nationals. In the latest 4-2 victory, Evan Carter led the offense with two RBI, while Jacob Latz pitched for 3.1 innings in a no-decision, allowing two runs on two hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Jacob Webb was credited with the win.

This year, the Rangers average 3.35 runs per game (28th in the MLB) on a .221/.283/.356 triple-slash. When it comes to pitching, the Rangers’ staff has a 3.10 ERA (3rd) and 1.12 WHIP (1st). Adolis Garcia leads the Rangers with a .215 batting average, seven home runs, and 28 RBI this season.

The projected starting pitcher for the Rangers is Tyler Mahle, who is 5-3 in 13 starts this season, with a 2.02 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 71.1 innings.

Minnesota Twins Betting Preview

The Minnesota Twins (35-30, 19-10 Home) spent three series on the road, where they lost to the Rays and Mariners and defeated the Athletics. Back at home, the Twins lost two of three games to the Blue Jays, but managed to avoid a sweep with a 6-3 win on Sunday. Christian Vasquez led the team with two RBI, while Joe Ryan got the win after allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks across 5.0 innings of work.

This season, the Twins average 4.25 runs per game (17th in the MLB) on a .242/.314/.387 triple-slash. When it comes to pitching, the Twins’ staff has a 3.51 ERA (7th) and 1.17 WHIP (5th). Byron Buxton leads the Twins with a .258 batting average, ten home runs, and 38 RBI this season.

At the time of writing, the Twins still haven’t announced the starter for this game against the Rangers.

Rangers vs Twins Prediction

The Twins won seven of the previous ten H2H encounters, including three of the last four. However, I am going with the Rangers in this one for two reasons. First, they will start Mahle, who is a legit Cy Young candidate and the best pitcher on the Rangers. Although he didn’t have the best of starts in his latest games against the Rays, Mahle posted a 2.10 ERA in June. His former team, Minnesota, will likely use a bullpen day following Pablo Lopez’s injury. That would be an advantage for the Rangers, and I am backing them to exploit it.
