In the starter slot for Tuesday’s game will be Erick Fedde. This year Fedde is 8-5 with a 3.28 ERA in 23 starts. In his career Fedde is 29-38 with a 4.93 ERA in 125 games (111 starts).

Over on the Reds’ side, they played the Milwaukee Brewers in their last series. Cincinnati lost the first two installments of that set 8-3 and 1-0, but staved off the sweep with a 4-3 win in the finale. On Monday the Reds scored three runs in two different innings. Andrew Abbott managed 6.2 innings with one earned as starter.

As starting pitcher for game two the Reds are going with Hunter Greene. This year Greene is 8-4 with a 2.90 ERA in 23 starts. Greene is 17-24 with a 3.99 ERA in 69 starts.

Cincinnati Reds vs St. Louis Cardinals Prediction

I’ll stay with the Reds. Greene had a few hiccups in his last start (6.0 innings; three earned) but overall he’s doing pretty well lately. Greene is 1-0 with a combined three earned in his last three starts over 19.0 innings. As for Fedde, he’s 1-2 with nine earned over 14.0 innings in his last trio.

On Monday the Reds didn’t have a huge offensive night outside of Spencer Steer and Elly De La Cruz. That duo combined for three homers, six RBI, four hits and three runs. The pitching was great too; only Jakob Junis (2.1 clean frames) came out of the pen. Cincinnati should be strong across the board for Tuesday.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Cincinnati Reds -115
