San Francisco Giants vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction
I rarely back pitchers making their big league debut because we have no idea what to expect. That’s the case here on a poor Giants team, and considering Wilkinson isn’t a top-30 prospect for the Giants. The Guardians are fighting for a playoff spot, and Messick is an All-Star with a 2.59 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. You can argue this price should be in the -200 or so range given the matchup and what teams are playing for at this stage. Must win for the Guardians. Give me Cleveland at home.
