San Francisco Giants vs Atlanta Braves Prediction
I’ll stay with the Braves. Lopez is pitching very well right now. In his last three starts combined, Lopez is 3-0 with just two earned runs in 16.0 total innings on 13 hits and six walks. As for Birdsong, he managed three earned runs on six hits and three walks in 4.2 innings on June 26 versus the Cubs.
Atlanta could use a shot in the arm on offense, though. In four of their last five games, the Braves have scored two runs or fewer—losing three of those four. Lopez should be able to hold things down on the mound; if the bats come around Atlanta will be in good shape here.
