Royals vs Tigers Prediction

Detroit was able to get some great pitching on Saturday night to get another win, as they have opened up an 11.5 game lead in the Central. The Tigers are 44-24 at home this year, while the Royals are 30-34 on the road. Kansas City has lost three of their last four games and they are starting Lugo, who has allowed 2, 6, and 7 earned runs in his last three starts. Detroit is going with Flaherty, who has allowed one earned run or fewer in three of his last five. This Tigers team is rolling and Flaherty has stepped up against the better teams on the schedule, so I will take Detroit here.

David Racey's Pick: Tigers -1.5
