I’ll try the Phillies. Nola could use a good outing, though. Back on June 13, Nola took a loss with 3.2 innings, eight earned, 11 hits and two walks versus the Red Sox. He came back in his next start with 6.0 innings against the Padres but still gave up three earned runs.
On Sunday the Phillies started out a little slow at the plate but ended up putting together a pretty well-rounded offensive outing. The pitching was great as well; Philly’s arms gave up just six hits total. I like the Phillies to keep it rolling into Monday’s game if Nola can kick things off well.
