In this article we will formulate an Orioles vs Mariners prediction for this MLB game on Tuesday, June 3rd at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

The Baltimore Orioles are 22-36 this year after they swept the White Sox in three games by scores of 2-1, 4-2, and 3-2. In their game three win, Baltimore led 2-0 early in the game and they added the eventual game winning run in the sixth to get the win. The Orioles recorded eight hits and they committed two errors in the game, while they were led by Carlson, O’Hearn, and Urias, who all had one RBI in the win. Baltimore started Morton, who allowed six hits and zero earned runs over 6.2 innings for the win, while Baker picked up the save.

Prior to that series, the Orioles lost two out of three against the Cardinals and split four games with the Red Sox. Baltimore has won six of their last eight games and they are currently last in the AL East standings. The Baltimore pitching staff has a 5.27 ERA with a 1.46 WHIP and a .272 opponent batting average, while their offense has scored 222 runs with a .237 batting average and a .302 on base percentage this season. Ryan O’Hearn has led Baltimore with nine home runs and 22 RBIs, while Jackson Holliday has added seven home runs and 25 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Baltimore is Tomoyuki Sugano, who is 4-3 with a 3.23 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP over 64.0 innings pitched this year.

Seattle Mariners Betting Preview

The Seattle Mariners are 32-26 this season after they won two out of three against the Twins by scores of 6-12, 5-4, and 2-1. In their game three win, Seattle allowed the Twins to tie the game in the top of the ninth, but they got a walk off single in the bottom of the ninth for the win. The Mariners recorded six hits in the game and they were led by Raleigh and Arozarena, who both had one RBI in the win. Seattle started Castillo, who allowed four hits and zero earned runs over 6.0 innings, while Munoz blew the save, but also picked up the win.

Prior to that series, the Mariners lost two out of three against the Nationals and three out of four against the Astros. Seattle has lost five of their last eight games and they are currently first in the AL West standings. The Seattle pitching staff has a 3.86 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and a .257 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 263 runs with a .237 batting average and a .321 on base percentage this season. Cal Raleigh has led Seattle with 23 home runs and 45 RBIs, while Julio Rodriguez has added 10 home runs and 32 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Seattle is George Kirby, who is 0-2 with an 11.42 ERA and a 1.85 WHIP over 8.2 innings pitched this season.

Orioles vs Mariners Prediction

Baltimore comes into this series with a little momentum, which is something they haven’t had much of this season. The Orioles are 10-19 on the road this year, while the Mariners are 16-14 at home. Seattle has struggled over the last ten days, but they have won two games in a row. The Mariners are starting Kirby, who has allowed 11 earned runs and 13 hits over his first two starts (8.2 IP). The Orioles are going with Sugano, who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in three of his last five starts. I know Kirby is going to eventually settle in, but I have to fade him until I see improvement. Take Baltimore on the road here.
