Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

The Baltimore Orioles are 10-11 this year after they lost two of the first three games in this series by scores of 2-4, 6-4, and 2-4. In game three, Baltimore led 1-0 in the fourth inning, but they only managed one more run in the loss. The Orioles recorded four hits in the game and they were led by Henderson and Taveras, who both had one RBI. Kremer allowed two hits and three earned runs over 6.0 innings for the loss, while Suarez pitched the final two innings. Prior to this series, Baltimore lost two out of three against the Diamondbacks, but did win two out of three against the Giants before that.

This season, Baltimore has a 3.84 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP and a .245 opponent batting average, while they have scored 87 runs with a .234 batting average and a .321 on base percentage. Gunnar Henderson has led the Orioles with seven home runs and 15 RBIs, while Jeremiah Jackson has added five home runs and 17 RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for Baltimore is Trevor Rogers, who is 2-1 with a 3.04 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP over 23.2 innings pitched this year.

Cleveland Guardians Betting Preview

The Cleveland Guardians are 12-10 this season after they won game three by a score of 4-2 on Saturday night. Cleveland took a 3-1 lead in the fifth inning and they added an insurance run in the eighth in the win. The Guardians recorded three hits and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Rocchio, who went 1-3 with one home run and three RBIs. Williams allowed three hits and one earned run over 7.0 innings for the win, while Smith picked up the save. Prior to this series, Cleveland lost two out of three against the Cardinals and two out of three against the Braves.

This season, Cleveland has a 3.96 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP and a .226 opponent batting average, while they have scored 87 runs with a .225 batting average and a .311 on base percentage. Chase DeLauter has led the Guardians with five home runs and 12 RBIs, while Jose Ramirez has added four home runs and 10 RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for Cleveland is Joey Cantillo, who is 1-0 with a 2.61 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over 20.2 innings pitched this season.

Orioles vs Guardians Prediction

Cleveland comes into this matchup looking for the series win and they have scored at least four runs in four of their last five. The Guardians are 6-3 at home this year, while the Orioles are 4-5 on the road. Baltimore has lost four of their last five games and they have scored two runs in two of their last three. Both of these pitchers have had solid starts to the season, but I think Rogers is the more consistent pitcher and I like the O’s to get the win here.
