The New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles will meet on Wednesday afternoon in the final game of a three‑game American League East series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland.

New York Yankees Betting Preview

The New York Yankees enter Wednesday’s contest with a 27–16 overall record (2nd in the American League East) and a 13–10 mark on the road. The New York Yankees offense has performed exceptionally well this season. Through 43 games played in 2026, the New York Yankees have compiled 223 runs scored (3rd in MLB), 72 doubles (7th in MLB), a .238 team batting average and a massive 66 home runs which ranks first in Major League Baseball.

The Yankees arrive at tomorrow’s game in poor form. New York has lost four of the team’s last five games played this season, including a 6–0 shutout loss to the Milwaukee Brewers four days ago.

New York will turn to left‑hander Max Fried in this contest. In nine starts made this season, Fried has compiled a 4–2 win‑loss record (12th in MLB), a 2.91 ERA, a 0.95 WHIP (10th in MLB), and a whopping 48 strikeouts, while allowing 38 hits and 18 walks in 58.2 innings pitched. Fried will look to build on his quality early season performances in tomorrow’s matchup with the Baltimore Orioles.

Shifting our focus to the New York offense, the Yankees lineup features outfielder Aaron Judge and first baseman Ben Rice. Aaron Judge has tallied a .275 batting average, 16 home runs (1st in MLB), 30 RBIs and a 1.047 OPS (3rd in MLB). Ben Rice has compiled a .310 batting average (14th in MLB), 29 RBIs and a rather impressive 1.099 OPS which ranks first in Major League Baseball.

Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview

The Baltimore Orioles enter Wednesday afternoon’s matchup with a 19–24 overall record (3rd in the American League East) and an 11–12 mark at home. The Orioles have played below average baseball recently, losing four of the team’s last six games, including a 4–3 loss to the Miami Marlins last week.

Baltimore will start right‑hander Kyle Bradish, who remains a key contributor in the Orioles starting pitching rotation. In eight starts made this season, Bradish has compiled an abysmal 1–5 record, a 4.83 ERA, a 1.66 WHIP and 45 strikeouts, while allowing 46 hits and 22 walks in 41 innings pitched.

The Baltimore Orioles offense features shortstop Gunnar Henderson and outfielder Taylor Ward. Gunnar Henderson leads the team with 9 home runs (24th in MLB), 7 doubles, 21 RBIs and a .660 OPS. Taylor Ward enters this contest with a .264 batting average, 14 doubles, 41 walks, 12 RBIs and an .802 OPS providing Baltimore with a strong offensive core.

Why the New York Yankees will win.

• Starting pitching edge. In nine starts made this season, Max Fried has compiled a 4–2 win‑loss record (12th in MLB), a 2.91 ERA, a 0.95 WHIP (10th in MLB) and 48 strikeouts.

• Offensive production. Aaron Judge and Ben Rice provide a strong core to the Yankees lineup.

• Ability to win on the road. New York has amassed a 13–10 on the road this season.

Why the Baltimore Orioles will win.

• Home field advantage. The Orioles have amassed an 11–12 record at Camden Yards this season.

• Offensive upside. Gunnar Henderson and Taylor Ward continue to anchor the Baltimore lineup.

New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

In my view, this matchup favors the New York Yankees. Why? New York will send talented hurler Max Fried to the mound tomorrow. Fried has tallied a 4-2 record, a 2.91 ERA and a robust 0.95 WHIP that ranks first in Major League Baseball. Conversely, Baltimore starting pitched Kyle Bradish has been inconsistent (1-5 record) in 2026, which is concerning when facing a quality Yankees lineup. With that said, I am backing the New York Yankees on the moneyline in this game.
