The Line: Betting Odds: Seattle -1.5 — Over/Under: +7.5
Logan Gilbert Over 6.5 K’s
Seattle Mariners vs St. Louis Cardinals 9:40 PM EST
Logan Gilbert has been a dependable presence in Seattle’s rotation this season, making 21 starts and posting a 4–6 record with a 3.61 ERA over 109 innings. He amassed 151 strikeouts, translating to an impressive strikeout rate of 33.9%, while maintaining a strong 1.02 WHIP. In terms of MLB percentile rankings, his WHIP ranks in the top tier. Logan Gilbert has been elite when pitching in T-Mobile Park. The last time Gilbert pitched at T-Mobile Park, he recorded 13 strikeouts against the Athletics. The Cardnials have been worse at the plate away from St. Louis, so this should be a good spot for Gilbert to have another solid outing.

Ryan Pepiot Under 2.5 Earned Runs
Tampa Bay Rays vs Chicago White Sox 9:40 PM EST
Across 29 starts, Pepiot has posted an 11–10 record with a 3.59 ERA, while striking out 161 batters in 163 innings and carrying a sharp 1.13 WHIP. Ranked among the league’s top 25 starters in ERA, strikeouts, and WHIP, Pepiot has provided both consistency and quality innings. Recently, he has been particularly impressive, highlighted by a dominant outing against the Guardians where he threw five no-hit innings with six strikeouts, a performance that earned him Player of the Series honors. The last time Pepiot allowed a run was back on 8/17 against the Giants. I’m looking to continue to ride the hot hand in this one, especially with Pepiot going against a lineup like the White Sox.
Logan Allen Under 2.5 Earned Runs
Cleveland Guardians vs Kansas City Royals 6:40 PM EST
Logan Allen’s 2025 season with the Cleveland Guardians has been one of mixed results, as the left-hander showed flashes of promise but also battled inconsistency. Across 27 appearances, including 26 starts, Allen worked 139.1 innings, compiling a 7–11 record with a 4.46 ERA and 109 strikeouts while carrying a 1.44 WHIP. Allen has struggled as of late, giving up 3 or more earned runs in each of his last 3 starts, but I like him to bounce back in this one. The Royals have been inconsistent at the plate this season and seem to be entering a slump. There are also questions about whether their star player, Bobby Witt Jr., will even play in this game due to the back issue he’s dealing with. This is a good spot for Logan Allen to bounce back.
