He blasted 38 home runs (tied for the NL lead), drove in 73 RBIs (top‑10), and scored 100 runs (leading the league). He’s recorded 2+ total bases in 8 of his last 10 starts, and I don’t see him slowing down in this one. He’ll be up against Nick Martinez, who’s been one of the more volatile pitchers in the league. This game will also be played at Great American Ballpark, which is one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in the league. I would not be surprised if Ohtani clears this 1.5 total base line in his first at-bat of this game.
Ketel Marte Over 1.5 Total Bases
Arizona D-Backs vs Detroit Tigers 1:10 PM EST
In 75 games and logging 278 at‑bats, Marte is slashing .288/.393/.554, with a .947 OPS, ranking 7th in MLB. He hit 20 home runs, delivered 41 RBI, and crossed the plate 55 times. Even though the D-backs have struggled as of late, Marte has been one of the only bright spots on this team. This pick is also a fade of the Tigers’ newly acquired pitcher Chris Paddack. Paddack has had an extremely shaky season with the Twins, and I don’t see him instantly improving with Detroit. I like the Diamondbacks to bounce back in this game, and to do that, Marte will need to contribute at the plate.
Jackson Chourio Over 1.5 Total Bases

Jackson Chourio has solidified his place as one of baseball’s rising stars, appearing in 104 games and logging 439 at-bats, during which he’s hit .276/.308/.472 (.780 OPS), ranking him in the top 40 in batting average and around 65th in OPS across MLB. He has logged 70 runs scored, 121 hits, 17 home runs, 67 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases. In his last 15 games, he’s been on fire, hitting .371/.400/.548, tallying 12 hits, 13 runs, and 2 home runs, while walking 3 times. Chourio has logged 2+ bases in 7 of his last 10 games. Chourio has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB as of late. Even though he’s going against Imanaga, we have seen Imanaga get hit this season. I like Chourio to have another solid game.
