Cal Raliegh Over 1.5 Total Bases

Seattle Mariners vs Athletics 10:05 PM EST

Cal Raleigh is delivering one of the most prolific offensive seasons by a catcher in MLB history. In 104 games and 389 at-bats, he’s slashing .260/.369/.617, posting an OPS of .986, ranking 3rd strongest in the league. His 41 home runs tied for the MLB lead, while his 87 RBIs also sat atop the league. He scored 71 runs and recorded 101 hits, firmly establishing himself as the most dangerous hitter at his position this year. I love him to have a good series in this small ballpark in Sacramento. He’ll be up against Jeffrey Springs, who’s been decent this season but has struggled at home and has had troubles keeping the ball out of the air. I wouldn’t be surprised if Raliegh hits a nuke in this one.

Jordan Westburg Over 1.5 Total Bases

Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles 12:35 PM EST

Jordan Westburg comes into this one with a slash line of .258/.307/.455, producing an OPS of .762 while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 23 runs. In his last 7 games, he’s recorded a .344 average, .382 OBP, and .531 slugging. He’s coming off a massive game on Tuesday where he went 4/6 with 4 runs. This Orioles offense has been very productive this series and has caused the Blue Jays to dig deep into their bullpen. Westburg has been a big part of this week’s offensive firepower from the Orioles, and with how taxed this Blue Jays bullpen is, this should set up for another big game from Westburg.

Nick Kurtz Over 1.5 Total Bases

Seattle Mariners vs Athletics 10:05 PM EST

At just 22 years old, Nick Kurtz burst onto the MLB scene with one of the most historic rookie performances in long-term memory. In 67 games (243 at‑bats), he slashed an eye-popping .309/.378/.683 with a 1.061 OPS, belting 23 home runs and driving in 59 runs, figures that tied for 13th in HRs and 36th in RBIs across the majors at the All-Star break. His season milestone came this past weekend in a matchup against Houston, when he became the first rookie in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game, going 6-for-6 with eight RBIs and tying the all-time record for total bases in a game with 19. That single performance pushed him to lead all rookies in home runs, RBIs, and extra-base hits, cementing his status as a frontrunner for American League Rookie of the Year. He’s one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now, clearing 2+ bases in 9 of his last 10 starts. Until Kurtz slows down, I’ll be looking to put my money on him.
