In this article we will formulate a MLB All-Star Game Prediction for this MLB All-Star game on Tuesday, July 16th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Let’s take a look at the MLB All-Star Game Prediction!

National League Betting Preview

The National League will look to make it two wins in a row this season, after they won last year’s game by a score of 3-2 at T-Mobile Park. Here is the NL starting lineup:

The starting pitcher for the National League is Paul Skenes, who is the rookie phenom from Pittsburgh. Here are some of the other pitchers that are on the NL roster: Max Fried, Shota Imanaga, Reynaldo Lopez, Kyle Finnegan, and Jeff Hoffman.

American League Betting Preview

The American League has dominated the All-Star game recently, as they have won nine of the last ten games, but they will try to avoid their second straight loss here. Here is the AL starting lineup:

The starting pitcher for the AL will be Corbin Burnes, who has had a very good first half of the season for the Orioles. Here are a few other pitchers that will be available for the American League: Garrett Crochet, Tarik Skubal, Cole Ragans, Mason Miller, and Emmanuel Clase.

Recent All-Star Game History

The National League won the game in 2023 by a score of 3-2, but the American League won the previous nine games by scores of 3-2, 5-2, 4-3, 8-6, 2-1, 4-2, 6-3, 5-3, and 3-0. Prior to that, the NL did win three games in a row from 2010-2012 by scores of 8-0, 5-1, and 3-1. As you can see, we have seen plenty of lower scoring games, with 9 of the 13 games since 2010 going under 7.5 runs.

MLB All-Star Game Prediction

We have the majority of the best players in the MLB on the field for this game to compete in the All-Star game, and while the game really doesn’t mean anything, it will still provide us with plenty of entertainment. The American League has dominated the All-Star game since 2013, but they are coming off of a loss last season. If you are looking at the total, the under 7.5 runs has been the play in nine of the last 13 games. Just like every recent All-Star game, it is tough to really get a read on the game, as it is just an exhibition game, but I am going to go with the American League here. The NL has a few very good pitchers that are not available in this game and while the AL is missing some offensive firepower, I like their options a little bit more. My MLB All-Star Game prediction is for the AL to win.
