Minnesota Twins vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction

Game 1 Prediction: The Twins have won eight straight games, while the Orioles continue to slump. There’s not much suggesting a change in game 1 given the pitching advantage. Ober has been respectable this season, and that includes allowing 23 hits and three earned runs in his last 18.2 innings. Kremer has been better lately, but he still has a 5.24 ERA and .261 allowed batting average. I just don’t get the warm and fuzzy feeling from the Orioles, and this pitching matchup isn’t great. Give me the Twins.

Game 2 Prediction: We don’t know who the Orioles are throwing on the bump at the time of this writing, but who cares? The Orioles are nine games below a .500 record and have one of the worst pitching staffs in baseball through 39 games. Woods Richardson has been inconsistent this season, and I’m not thrilled to see a 5.30 ERA and .301 allowed batting average in 18.2 road innings. Still, the Orioles aren’t good. Give me the Twins to sweep the doubleheader.
