The Cubs are getting the benefit of the doubt here and they are the better team. I’ve based the Angels for years and don’t think highly of this team. However, Boyd was downright terrible in his season debut and it’s hard to follow that up and lay juice in this spot. Kikuchi was sharp against the Astros and while he’s been hittable throughout his career, he’s also had moments where he’s looked like a strong middle-of-the-rotation guy. Quick turnaround, I’ll take the Angels and the more favorable price.
