I’ll try the Angels here. Probably staying away, though. Lugo had a good start to open up the month, giving up just one earned in 8.0 innings during a victory over the Tigers. In his two starts since then however, Lugo is 0-2 with 11 earned runs in 9.1 innings total. The Angels will have some early opportunities at the plate if Lugo can’t get it going.
On Sunday Los Angeles could only muster three team hits in a rough offensive effort. The Angels’ pitching wasn’t too bad though, and kept the game close. LA has scored three or fewer runs in six straight games. They’ll need to get the bats going early on Monday.
