I’m on the Tigers here. I get the case to be made for Arizona, but it keeps looking more and more like the Diamondbacks will be selling a lot of pieces at the deadline and I just have little faith in this team going forward. We’ve also seen Eduardo Rodriguez struggle far more often than not over the course of the season so far. On the other side, the Tigers are a team I’ve had a hard time backing as of late, but we’re back in must-win territory for this team going forward, and maybe a win to avoid the sweep against the Blue Jays on Sunday was what the doctor ordered. I think Detroit draws first blood in this series, so give me the Tigers in this one.
