Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

In their last set the White Sox played the Los Angeles Angels. Chicago secured a sweep over three games. After a 4-1 loss to the Tigers in their opener, on Saturday the Sox evened it up with a 4-0 win.

In the starter slot Sunday it’ll be Jonathan Cannon. This year Cannon is 4-10 with a 4.37 ERA in the first 22 games (20 starts) of his career.

Detroit Tigers Betting Preview

Over on the Detroit side, they played the Tampa Bay Rays in their last series. The Tigers won all three of those games for a sweep. On Saturday Detroit posted just three hits (and two errors) in the shutout loss.

As starter for Sunday the Tigers didn’t immediately announce a name.

Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers Prediction

I might try the White Sox on a value stab here. Probably staying away, though. In his last outing Cannon posted 6.0 clean innings with three hits and a walk versus the Angels. In the two starts prior to that Cannon went 1-1 with seven earned over 12.0 total innings.

On Saturday the White Sox got a nice pitching outing from starter Sean Burke with 5.0 innings, two hits, three walks and six Ks in the victory. Cannon should start this one out well, so it might be worth trying Chicago.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Chicago White Sox +200
