Starter for Saturday’s game will be Chicago’s Shota Imanaga. In the first 23 starts of his career Imanaga is 9-3 with a 3.11 ERA.

Over on the Marlins’ side, they played the Arizona Diamondbacks in their last series and took a sweep with three straight losses. On Friday the Marlins gave up three runs in the final two frames. Max Meyer lasted 6.0 innings with three earned in the start.

Chicago Cubs vs Miami Marlins Prediction

I’ll lean toward the Cubs here. Chicago should get a decent showing out of Imanaga. He’s just 1-1 in his last three starts but hasn’t been pitching badly. In that trio Imanaga has six earned in 17.0 innings combined on 13 hits and three walks.

On Friday the Cubs scored three in the third inning on the way to a pretty nice offensive evening. The bullpen was great as well, with 4.1 innings, one hit and no earned. I like Chicago to keep it up.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Chicago Cubs -150
