Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers are 8-3 this season after they split the first two games in this series by scores of 8-6 and 2-3. In their game two loss, Milwaukee trailed 3-0 late in the game, but they did score twice in the seventh, before falling just short in the loss. The Brewers recorded five hits in the game and they were led by Hamilton and Yelich, who both had one RBI. Misiorowski allowed two hits and three earned runs over 5.1 innings for the loss, while Hall and Woodford pitched the final 2.2 innings. Prior to this series, Milwaukee won two out of three against the Royals and two out of three against the Rays.

This season, Milwaukee has a 3.43 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and a .223 opponent batting average, while they have scored 70 runs with a .263 batting average and a .367 on base percentage. Garrett Mitchell has led the Brewers with one home run and 13 RBIs, while Christian Yelich has added one home run and 10 RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for Milwaukee is Chad Patrick, who is 1-0 with a 0.96 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP over 9.1 innings pitched this season.

Boston Red Sox Betting Preview

The Boston Red Sox are 3-8 this year after they won game two by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday night. Boston did all of their damage in the sixth inning and they were able to barely hang on for the win. The Red Sox recorded three hits and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Story, who went 1-4 with two RBIs. Crochet allowed five hits and two earned runs over 6.1 innings for the win, while Chapman picked up his third save. Prior to this series, Boston lost two out of three against the Padres and all three against the Astros.

This season, Boston has a 4.58 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and a .249 opponent batting average, while they have scored 39 runs with a .223 batting average and a .300 on base percentage. Wilyer Abreu has led the Red Sox with three home runs and eight RBIs, while Trevor Story has added one home run and six RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for Boston is Sonny Gray, who is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP over 10.0 innings pitched this year.

Brewers vs Red Sox Prediction

Boston was able to get a much needed win on Tuesday night and they will look for the series win here. The Red Sox are 2-3 at home this year, while the Brewers are 3-2 on the road. Milwaukee has been very good through their first 11 games, but they have allowed at least five runs in three of their last four. This is a pretty solid pitching matchup, but I do think both offenses will find success against the starters. Take the over here.

David Racey's Pick: Over 7.5
