I’m backing the Athletics in this one. I know Seattle managed to get the win on Friday, but I still think that the Athletics are playing some decent baseball as of late and are fully capable of competing in this game. George Kirby’s been solid against the A’s in his career, but this A’s team might be the best that he’s faced to this point. Springs has had success against the Mariners in his career, and the Mariners haven’t been spectacular against lefties lately. Give me the Athletics in this one.
