San Francisco Giants vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
I’m going to side with the Phillies here. I know the Giants have been a team that can provide a lot of value on the road and they will plenty this season I think. However, Jordan Hicks is probably one of my least favorite starting options in this Giants’ rotation, as he throws a lot of heat, but gasses himself out too early, and at times gets lit up because of it like he did in his last start. He got hit hard by the Phillies in his lone career start against them, and I think Hicks gets roughed up again. I much prefer the Giants against righties than lefties right now, and Cristopher Sanchez is looking like one of the better lefties in baseball right now. I’ll roll with the Phillies to earn the split in this one.
