Minnesota Twins vs Chicago White Sox
For game one I’ll lean toward the Twins. Ober is pitching well these days. He’s got four earned over his last three starts combined in 21.0 frames for a 2-0 record. Fedde is coming off a nice start himself, taking a win over Cleveland with 6.0 innings and one earned run.
In game two I’ll try the White Sox. This should be a pretty fun starter matchup regardless, though. Thorpe is 3-0 over his last three starts with just three earned in a total of 18.1 innings. As for Lopez, he needs a bounce-back after six earned in 5.0 innings during his last start. Lopez was pitching well before that, though (2-0 record, 14.0 innings, one earned combined over two starts).
