A’s vs Braves Injury Notes

A’s RP Kyle Muller (shoulder) will be evaluated by team doctors next week.

Braves RP AJ Minter (left hip inflammation) was placed on the 15-day Injured List this week.

Oakland Athletics vs Atlanta Braves Prediction

I’ll lean toward the Braves. Probably not touching it, though; the line’s too thick to mess with. Morton is coming off a pretty rough loss on May 27 versus the Nationals. In that one Morton put up eight earned runs on 12 hits and two walks in 5.2 innings of work. He’ll need quite a bounce-back in Sunday’s start.

On Saturday the Braves had a rough outing from Chris Sale, and Jimmy Hereto (1.1 innings; two earned) didn’t fare a whole lot better. Atlanta wasn’t too bad outside of that though, and the offense got some haymakers in there. I like the Braves to fare better in the finale.
