San Diego Padres vs Kansas City Royals Prediction

I’ll stay with the Padres. Cease needs to have a good start, though; he hasn’t been pitching all that well lately. Over his last three starts, Cease is 0-2 with a combined 12 earned runs in 16.1 innings of work on 22 hits and four walks. He’ll need a quality start here to set San Diego up for a W.

In their last game Wednesday, the Padres played pretty poorly all around. San Diego gave up 16 hits to the Marlins and allowed scoring in six different innings. Every pitcher gave up at least one earned run as well. The Padres are going to need to turn things around Friday.
