Oakland Athletics vs Tampa Bay Rays Prediction
The Tampa Bay Rays should be favored because they're the better team on paper, but they've been awful over the last two weeks and I want nothing to do with them. However, I'm not running to the window to back the Oakland Athletics, especially on the road. Instead, I'm looking at the over. Joey Estes has been terrible through 15.2 innings with an ERA over 7, and Ryan Pepiot has allowed 6 runs in his last 6 innings. Neither pitcher is lighting the world on fire. I know the Athletics and Rays lineups have issues of their own, but we should see some runs in this game. Give me the over 8.5 runs.
