In the Sunday finale the Royals took a 4-1 loss, giving up all four runs in the seventh. Starter Michael Wacha lasted 6.0 frames with two earned on three hits and a walk. As starting pitcher for Monday’s game the Royals are sending out Alec Marsh. In his eight starts this year Marsh is 4-1 with a 2.72 ERA and 36 Ks in 43.0 innings. Kansas City Royals vs Minnesota Twins Prediction
I’ll stick with the Twins. Ryan has a couple of good starts and one fairly rough outing in his last trio. On May 16 versus the Yankees, Ryan gave up four earned in 5.1 innings during a loss. In the other pair of his last three, Ryan is 2-0 with just one earned in 14.0 innings.
On Sunday the Twins got a rough start from Lopez with two runs surrendered in three different innings. The offense wasn’t much help on three hits either. That said, the bullpen was solid after the damage was done. Minnesota needs a much better effort Monday obviously but I think they’re still in good shape.
