Chicago White Sox vs New York Yankees
I’ll probably just stick with the Yankees here, but the line's too thick to mess with. Clevinger should be okay if he’s on point, though. In his last outing May 11, Clevinger finished with one earned run on four hits and no walks in 4.2 innings. His only other appearance this season was 2.0 frames in a loss, giving up three earned on six hits and four walks.
As for the Yankees, on Thursday they jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after the first inning and held the Twins to just three hits the rest of the way. The pitching was great overall, and it would be nice to see a good effort from Cortes to kick off this series. He’s given up four earned in two of his last three starts (both losses) though, so Cortes certainly has his work cut out for him.
