Over on the Orioles’ side, they took wins 4-2 and 5-4 versus the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first two games of their weekend series. Baltimore lost 9-2 on Sunday, though. In the Monday matchup the O’s got two solo home runs from Adley Rutschman in the loss. Corbin Burnes managed 6.0 innings as starter with one earned run on six hits and two walks.

Kyle Bradish will take the mound for the starting role on Tuesday for Baltimore. This year Bradish has a 1.86 ERA and 14 Ks in 9.2 innings over two starts without a decision. In his career Bradish is 16-14 with a 3.62 ERA in 55 starts.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction

I’ll lean toward the Blue Jays. This should be another interesting matchup, though. Bassitt coughed up seven earned in 2.2 innings versus the Dodgers back on April 26, but he’s been pretty good since then. Bassitt is 1-1 in his last two starts with five earned in 12.1 innings. As for Bradish, he’s given up two earned in 9.2 innings over his first two starts this season.

On Monday the Jays got a home run and a couple of key RBI from Daulton Varsho, and the bullpen did the rest on 3.0 clean frames. Tuesday’s game two is probably going to be another close one; Toronto should have a good shot at a W to keep it going.
