Colorado Rockies Recap
The Colorado Rockies come into this one looking to build on Monday’s 5-4 upset win in the series opener against the Padres, pushing their win streak to 5 and building off of the series sweep over the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers over the weekend.
Rockies Starting To Cook Offensively
Ryan McMahon leads the charge for the Rockies with 46 hits including team-highs of 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 9 doubles with a .301 batting average while Elias Diaz has a .301 batting average with 41 hits and 8 doubles as well as 21 RBIs. Why the Colorado Rockies will win

- The Padres have failed to cover the run line in seven of their last eight night games at Petco Park following a loss.
- The Rockies have led after 5 innings in four of their last five games as underdogs.
San Diego Padres Recap
The San Diego Padres will try to bounce back after starting their series on the wrong foot thanks to their loss to Colorado, failing to build momentum after their series win over the Dodgers over the weekend.
Padres Continue To Be Inconsistent
Jurickson Profar leads the Padres with 47 hits along with a .320 batting average and 8 doubles with 7 homers and 29 RBIs. Jake Cronenworth has 27 RBIs while Fernando Tatis Jr. has belted a team-high 8 home runs this season. Manny Machado has 5 home runs and 22 RBIs but also has 38 strikeouts while Ha-Seong Kim has 31 hits with 2 triples, 4 doubles, 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and a team-high 8 stolen bases. Rockies vs. Padres Prediction
I’m on the under here. This game features a pair of starters that are dealing right now, which is a little bit more surprising to say about Cal Quantrill compared to Dylan Cease. Cease is pitching how we normally expect him to, but Quantrill’s now looking like the staff ace of this abysmal Rockies rotation. I think this has potential to be a low-scoring one early on though, so give me the under here.
