Kansas City Royals Recap
The Kansas City Royals come into this game off of their 9-3 loss to the Angels on Saturday, but there’s still hope for the Royals to win the series and make it back-to-back series wins after taking out the Brewers to start the week.

Bobby Witt Jr. leads the Royals with 50 hits including 5 home runs, 21 RBIs, 5 triples and 11 doubles while Salvador Perez has a team-high 8 home runs and 33 RBIs with 46 hits of his own. Los Angeles Angels Recap

Angels Still Struggling Without Trout
Taylor Ward leads the Angels with 42 hits along with 7 home runs and a team-high 24 RBIs. Mike Trout has a team-high 10 home runs along with a pair of triples and 6 stolen bases, but remains out indefinitely with injury while Zach Neto has a team-high 41 strikeouts and 6 stolen bases. Luis Rengifo also has a team-high 9 stolen bases while Jo Adell has 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 7 stolen bases as well.

Royals vs. Angels Prediction
I’m on the Royals here. I know the Angels left a bruise on KC on Saturday, but the Royals have still been one of the more trustworthy teams and up and coming teams offensively this season and aren’t a team I’m looking to abandon right now. Sustained success for the Angels hasn’t really been a thing this season, and Lugo’s been one of the Royals’ best arms to this point. Sandoval had a good outing against the Pirates, but he’s been one of the weaker links of this Angels’ rotation for a while now and I think KC tees off on him on the way to a win to close out the series. Give me Kansas City in this one.
