Arizona Diamondbacks vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Reds in this one. Ashcroft had a rough start versus the Angels on April 20, giving up five earned in 5.0 innings (still a victory, though). Since then Ashcraft has been much better with just one earned in 12.1 innings. As for Montgomery, he coughed up six earned in 3.0 innings versus the Dodgers in his last appearance, but had just four earned in 13.0 innings prior to that.
On Tuesday the Reds really only had one bad inning on the mound (mostly from Justin Wilson on 0.1 innings and four earned). The offense was pretty rough on three team hits, though. Cincinnati needs to get the bats going Wednesday.
