Phillies vs. Padres Prediction
I’m on the Phillies here. I know Cease has been lights out for the Padres for the better part of the season and has done an admirable job of filling the void left by Blake Snell when Snell bolted for San Francisco. However, the Phillies continue to crush right-handed pitching, while the Padres have really struggled against lefties. Ranger Suarez continues to shut opponents down on the road and in a pitcher-friendly park like Petco, I think he has another strong outing here. Give me the Phillies.
