The Baltimore Orioles and the Los Angeles Angels meet Wednesday in MLB action from Angel Stadium. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels prediction.
Baltimore Orioles Team Preview
The Baltimore Orioles come into this one looking to bounce back from a 7-4 loss to the Angels in Tuesday’s matchup. Baltimore fell behind early and often and managed to get on the board in the 5th but even a 4th run in the 7th inning wasn’t enough to complete the comeback. Adley Rutschman leads the Orioles with 30 hits while Gunnar Henderson has 27 hits. Ryan Mountcastle has a team-high 7 doubles while Henderson has a team-high 6 home runs, 15 RBIs, 3 triples and 26 strikeouts. Jordan Westburg also has a team-high 18 RBIs as well this season. Cedric Mullins also has a team-high 5 stolen bases as well this season. Dean Kremer will get the start here and is 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA and 17 strikeouts this season. In his career, Kremer is 2-0 with a 1.76 ERA and 16 strikeouts against the Angels. The Orioles will take on the Athletics after this series.

Los Angeles Angels Team Preview
The Los Angeles Angels will look to build on their win over the Orioles from Tuesday. The Angels jumped all over the Orioles early and often in the game, scoring in each of the first four innings and plating all 7 of their runs by the 4th inning. Taylor Ward leads the Angels with 27 hits along with 6 home runs and a team-high 21 RBIs. Mike Trout has a team-high 9 home runs along with a pair of triples and 5 stolen bases while Zach Neto has a team-high 25 strikeouts and 4 stolen bases. Luis Rengifo also has a team-high 6 stolen bases as well. Tyler Anderson will start for the Halos in this one 2-2 with a 1.42 ERA and 14 strikeouts this season. This will be Anderson’s second career start against the Orioles. The Angels will play against the Twins following this series.

- The Angels have failed to cover the run line in each of their last six games against the Orioles following a win.
- The Angels have led after 3 innings in each of their last three day games against the Orioles at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
- The Angels have trailed after 5 innings in each of their last five day games against American League opponents.
- The Angels have lost the first inning in each of their last four day games against AL East opponents.
Orioles vs. Angels Prediction
I’m on the under here. Kremer hasn’t been the same profitable pitcher that he was for much of last year, but he’s had substantial success all throughout his time against the Angels with that sub-2.00 ERA. On the other side, Anderson’s pitched really well to this point and is unlucky to be 2-2 with a 1.42 ERA but a lot of it is because his offense behind him is inconsistent from the Angels’ bats and a lot of times this Angels team has left their starting pitcher hanging out to dry. I think this could end up being a bit of an under the radar pitcher’s duel. Give me the under in this one.
