Projected Starter

Jordan Hicks (2-0, 1.57 ERA) will make the start for San Francisco. The Houston native put together another solid outing last week in Miami, holding the Marlins to two runs through five innings, while striking out five as well. The former longtime Cardinals pitcher has latched on nicely in Bay through four starts, and he’ll have to maintain that energy here against an offensive-minded Arizona team.

The Diamondbacks will have advantages at the mound and behind the plate, so as long as Kelly’s holds his end, they will be within reach of a victory this Sunday.
