Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
In their last series, the Orioles took on the Minnesota Twins. Baltimore did very well in that set, taking the sweep with wins 7-4, 11-3 and 4-2. In the Wednesday victory the O’s got home runs from Cedric Mullins (two RBI in a walk-off), Gunnar Henderson and Anthony Santander. Starter Albert Suarez finished with 5.2 clean innings, three hits and no walks.
In the starter role for the Orioles on Friday it’ll be Dean Kremer. This year in three starts Kremer is 0-1 with a 4.96 ERA and 14 Ks in 16.1 innings. Kremer is 22-21 with a 4.38 ERA in 74 career games, posting 327 Ks in 386.2 innings total.

Over on the Royals’ side, they managed to win their first two games versus the Chicago White Sox this week 2-0 and 4-2. Kansas City lost out on the sweep with a 2-1 result in the finale, though. In that one the Royals got a lone RBI from Hunter Renfroe. Michael Wacha posted 6.0 innings with two earned on four hits and two walks.
It’ll be Alec Marsh in the starting pitcher role for the Royals on Friday. Across his three starts this year Marsh is 2-0 with a 4.32 ERA and 10 Ks in 16.2 innings. Marsh has a career record of 5-9 in the MLB with a 5.44 ERA in 20 games (11 starts).

Orioles vs Royals Prediction
I’ll probably stay with Baltimore. The Orioles are on a nice run right now, winning four straight after consecutive losses to the Brewers over the weekend. Kremer will need a good bounce-back effort in this opener, though. He’s coming off a rough outing with 4.0 innings, six earned, 10 hits and a walk in a loss to Milwaukee. As for Marsh, he’s given up seven earned over his last 9.2 innings of work, going 1-0 in that time.
Baltimore’s offense is clicking lately, so if the bats keep moving the team should be in good shape on Friday. The O’s have posted four or more runs in five straight games, and six or more in three of the last four. The Royals have given up two or fewer runs in four straight games themselves though, so this should be a pretty fun weekend series.
