The Arizona Diamondbacks will head up to the Bay to meet the San Francisco Giants for game two of their divisional series this Friday from Oracle Park on NBC Sports. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Diamondbacks vs Giants Prediction.

Arizona Diamondbacks Preview

Arizona comes in at 9-10 after falling to Chicago, 5-3. The Diamondbacks had their rally cut short by the Cubs in their series finale, and they’ll look to get back above .500 this weekend in the Bay. Arizona is batting .255, while scoring 5.7 runs per game, with a team ERA of 4.06.

Arizona’s Player Props

  • Ketel Marte homered in the final two games of the Chicago series, and he leads Arizona in batting (.325) and hits (20), with five homers and 20 runs batted in.

San Francisco Giants Preview

San Francisco enters at 8-11 after defeating Miami, 3-1. The Giants managed to leave Florida with a series victory after falling to Tampa Bay last week, and they’ll look to find some consistency here against Arizona. Diamondbacks vs Giants Prediction

I found myself watching Randy Johnson highlights when approaching this matchup, and I'd love to buy-in to the pitchers duel here, as two of the top arms in the league from 2023 are set to face off at the arm-friendly Oracle Park. Blake Snell's late-start to camp has shown through his first two starts with San Fran, but a bounce back could in store as he takes the mound for a third time. Jordan Montgomery will be making his 2024 debut, and while he may have some rust to shake off early, he's coming off of one of the best postseason runs of all-time. Let's lean on the arms to come to play Friday night in the Bay, and back the Under for this NL West battle.

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a PickDawgz site consensus.
