The Padres played the Los Angeles Dodgers in their weekend series, winning two of three games. San Diego then took a win 7-3 over the Brewers on Monday. In the Tuesday matchup the Padres scored four runs in the first inning on the way to a 6-3 win. Ha-Seong Kim posted three RBI, and Dylan Cease did well in the start with 6.0 innings and one earned.
San Diego will send out Michael King in the starting role Wednesday. This year in four games (three starts), King is 2-0 with a 4.19 ERA and 19 Ks in 19.1 innings. King has a 15-17 career record with a 3.44 ERA in 119 games (22 starts).

Over on the Brewers’ side, they were able to take two of three games versus the Baltimore Orioles in their weekend set. On Tuesday Milwaukee was out-hit 10-6 and coughed up three errors. William Contreras secured a pair of RBI, and starter Wade Miley left after 3.0 innings and three earned on four hits and two walks.
It'll be Bryse Wilson in the start for the Brewers on Wednesday. This year Wilson is 1-0 with a 5.19 ERA and 10 Ks.

Padres vs Brewers Prediction
I’ll probably stay with the Padres here. King wasn’t great in his last start, however. He gave up four earned on six hits and two walks in 5.0 innings versus the Dodgers in that one. That said, King had just two earned in his previous 11.0 innings.
On Tuesday the Padres had a pretty good effort on both sides. Every batter posted either a hit or an RBI, and Fernando Tatis went 3-for-4 with two runs in a great effort. San Diego did use four arms out of the bullpen for just three innings though, so it would be nice to see King go six frames or so on Wednesday.
