Rangers vs Tigers Prediction
Detroit comes into this game after a very fortunate comeback win on Sunday afternoon, where they took advantage of a huge error by Minnesota late in the game. The Tigers have not hit the ball very well this year, but their pitching staff has been solid. Texas has lost two series in a row to Houston and Oakland, but their offense is much better than Detroit’s. The Tigers are going with Reese Olson, who allowed six earned runs and nine hits over 4.1 innings against Oakland in his last start. Texas is going with Michael Lorenzen, who is coming off of the IL for his first start of the year. Texas hasn’t been their best to start this season, but their lineup is going to be the difference here. Lorenzen should be good enough to give a solid start against his former team, as I don’t trust the Detroit offense at all. Take Texas here.
