Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
Over on the Orioles’ side, they played the Milwaukee Brewers over the weekend. Baltimore lost the first two games of that series 11-1 and 11-5. On Sunday the O’s came back from a late 4-3 deficit and powered out a win 6-4. Ryan O’Hearn (two RBI), Colton Cowser and Cedric Mullins (two hits) each had a home run in the victory.
As starter for the Monday opener, the Orioles are sending out Cole Irvin. Over his two starts this year Irvin is 0-1 with an 8.10 ERA and seven Ks in 10.0 innings. Irvin has a 22-35 career record with a 4.48 ERA in 107 games (79 starts).

Twins vs Orioles Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Orioles. This one’s a coin flip, though. Both pitchers need a good showing after rough efforts in their latest starts. Irvin gave up five earned in 5.0 innings versus the Red Sox in his last outing on April 10. As for Varland, he’s coming of six earned in 5.0 innings versus the Dodgers on April 9.
Baltimore’s offense has done well lately. They’ve scored five or more runs in five of the last six games. Another good outing from the bats should give the O’s an edge, but the team needs a solid start from Irvin as well.
