Minnesota Twins Betting Preview
The Twins were able to take an opening series win over the Kansas City Royals this past weekend despite getting blown out 11-0 on Sunday. In Tuesday’s opener versus the Brewers, Minnesota managed just three team hits in a 3-2 loss. Starter Louie Varland lasted 4.0 frames with three earned on six hits and two walks. Carlos Correa walked three times and scored one run.
In the starting role for the Wednesday game it’ll be Minnesota’s Chris Paddack in his season debut. Last year Paddack appeared in just two games, going 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA and eight Ks in 5.0 innings. Paddack is 22-21 with a 4.21 ERA over 68 career games (65 starts).
Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview
Over on the Brewers’ side, they bagged a sweep against the New York Mets in their opening series. Milwaukee won those games 3-1, 7-6 and 4-1. On Tuesday the Brewers didn’t have the biggest offensive day, but the three runs (all before the fourth inning) were enough to win. Brice Turang managed two hits, a walk and an RBI in the victory.
As starting pitcher for the Brewers on Wednesday it’ll be Joe Ross. The last time Ross pitched in the majors was way back in 2021. He posted a 5-9 record with a 4.17 ERA in 20 games (19 starts) that year, striking out 109 batters in 108.0 innings of work.

Twins vs Brewers Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Brewers here. You could obviously argue this one either way, though. A lot of it is going to come down to the starting pitching. It’s anyone’s guess how Paddack and Ross will perform after very limited collective action, but it’ll be interesting nonetheless. On Tuesday the Brewers managed a fairly tepid outing on offense with seven team hits. The bullpen stepped up and held the game though, giving up a combined three walks and zero hits in 5.0 innings. I’d like the see Milwaukee get the bats going a little better in Wednesday’s matchup, but all things considered they should have a good shot at another win here.
