The Twins offense has been inconsistent but it really looks like they have the pitching to make a playoff run. Byron Buxton has made it clear that he wants to be on the postseason roster but even if he is on it, it’s unclear if he’s going to play here. If he does play I would expect him to only be a DH. Getting the start for the Twins will be Pablo Lopez and he sits with an ERA of 3.66. Over his last two starts, he has gone 10.1 innings and given up six runs

Blue Jays Need to Get Bats Going Early

When Lopez settles in early he is very hard to hit, so the Blue Jays are going to need the bats to get going early. The Blue Jays finished the regular season with 89 wins, and this is a roster that is very talented. Vladimir Guerrero had a strong season finishing with 26 home runs and driving in 94 RBIs. George Springer and Bo Bichette both finished with over 70 RBIs. Whoever starts in this game for the Blue Jays is going to need to be good.

I think the Twins finally get the monkey off their back. Lopez has been good overall this season and he’s going to be lights out here. The Twins might not exactly run up the score but they are going to only need three or four runs here. I also think Target Field is going to be a huge home field advantage and that will really help them here. Back the Twins to get the job done here on the money line.
