The Philadelphia Phillies will host the Atlanta Braves for game two of their divisional series this Tuesday from Citizens Banks Park.

Braves Preview & Projected Starter

Atlanta moved to 94-50 after losing to Philadelphia. The Braves couldn’t take both contests yesterday, and they’ll look to get back into the win column in game three. . The Atlanta offense is scoring 3.83 runs per game, while batting .270, with a .339 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.67 ERA, with a 1.26 WHIP.

Max Fried (7-1, 2.70 ERA, 12 Ks) will start for Atlanta. The seventh-year pitcher had another solid against St. Louis last time out, going six innings, and earning his seventh win of the season. That marks three straight wins for Fried, who’s been great since returning from an extended DL stint. The Santa Monica is 5-0 since the start of August, and he’ll attempt to contain the Phillies here on the road.

Braves Player Trends & Props

Ronald Acuna Jr. is leading Atlanta in batting (.335) and hits (174), with 29 HR and 79 RBI.

Matt Olson has totaled multiple bases in four straight games, and he leads the NL in home runs (43) and RBI (112).

Austin Riley homered in Monday’s win, and he’s posting splits of .274/31/81.

Marcell Ozuna has plated a run in six of the last seven games,  and he’s posting a line of .265/29/71.

Phillies Preview & Projected Starter

Philadelphia moved to 79-65 after defeating Miami. The Phillies bounced back in the second leg of yesterday’s doubleheader, and they’ll attempt to take control of series here Tuesday. L The Philly offense is scoring 4.13 runs per game, while batting .254, with a .322 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.98 ERA, with a 1.25 WHIP.

Zack Wheeler (11-7, 3.70 ERA, 165 Ks) will take the bump for Philadelphia. The eleventh-year pitcher came through with a strong outing in San Diego last week, striking out seven thru six scoreless frames to earn his eleventh win. Wheeler continues to be a reliable workhorse for Philly this season, and he’ll look to deliver another great effort here against the division leaders.

Phillies Player Trends & Props

Bryce Harper has produced a run in eight of the last ten games, and he’s posting splits of .305/15/55.?

Bryson Stott has collected a hit in seven of the last ten games, and he’s posting a team-lead in hits (144), while batting .293, with 55 RBI.

Nick Castellanos has recorded a hit in seven of the previous ten games, and he’s posting a line of .275/22/83.

Alex Bohm has scored a run in six of the previous seven games, and he’s third on the team in RBI (82), while hitting .279.

Corey’s Free Pick

In one corner, you have a streaking lefty, with the best lineup in baseball, and in the other, you have one of the top workhorses in the league at home, with an army of bats behind him as well, so this contest may have a few angles. I like leaning on Zack Wheeler and Philly to pull this one out, but with the magic number clearing twice yesterday, the Over has potential as well. I recommend rolling with the hosts for this divisional bout, but it’s arguably a positive pick your poison.
