Athletics Continue to Embarrass

The Athletics continue to seem to embarrass themselves, and there is just no other way to put it, this team just isn’t very talented. In the last series against the Los Angeles Dodgers they lost all three games and they scored only six runs total. The pitching also didn’t give them much of a chance as they gave up 25 runs. The A’s are averaging 3.75 runs while their pitching is giving up 6.06 runs per game. The offense is ranked 30th while the pitching is also ranked 30th. In this game the offense needs to get the offense going. 

Giants Look to Climb up NL West Standings

The San Franciso Giants are coming off a series against the Arizona Diamondbacks where they were able to win three of four. On Thursday the pitching didn’t give up a run, and they are going to need that same type of pitching performance here. The pitching has a lot of confidence but they need to find a way to get the offense going here. The Giants are averaging 4.43 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.19 runs per game. The pitching is ranked 9th best in all of the major leagues.
