Greinke did indeed struggle in three road starts last month, and he was a bit vulnerable to the White Sox at home a few weeks ago, so more of the same could be on the way. Results aside, Greinke’s durability at this stage in his career is nice to see.

Andrew Vaughn produced a run in two of three games against Cleveland, and he leads the Sox in RBI (31). Yasmani Grandal has multiple hits in three of the last four games, and he leads the game in batting (.295)
Michael Kopech (1-4, 5.74 ERA, 36 Ks) will get the call for Chicago. The fourth-year pitcher fell back into the loss column last time out after having a tough time with Houston. Kopech only lasted 4.2 innings and walked six batters, and he’ll look for better results versus KC here.
