The Atlanta offense is scoring 5.48 runs per game, while batting .260, with a .340 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.49 ERA, with a 1.24 WHIP. Ronald Acuna Jr. has recorded an RBI in seven of the last ten games, and he’s leading the team in batting average (.338) and hits (46). Matt Olson homered in the series finale versus the O’s, and he’s up to a team-lead ten home runs, with 27 RBI. Ozzie Alvies (.283) has a hit in six of seven games this month.
Charlie Morton (3-3, 3.38 ERA, 32 Ks) will take the hill for Atlanta. The veteran righty was solid in Queens last week despite taking the losing decision, striking out six in 5.1 innings, while allowing four runs to the Mets.
