Arizona comes in at 19-15 after taking two of three from Washington. The Diamondbacks let their final contest with the Nats slip away, and they’ll look to nail down win number twenty this Monday. Corbin Carroll (.315) has recorded a hit in eleven straight games, and he leads the DBacks in runs (22). The fifth-year pitcher finally had his scoreless innings streak snapped, but he still pitched well in Austin against the Rangers, striking out six over five innings pitched. Gallen was dominant towards the end of April, and he’s cleared seven strikeouts in five of his first seven starts.
