The second-year lefty had a tough time in Anaheim last week, allowing six runs in just 4.1 innings pitched, and a return to Alameda may just be what he needs. Sears struck out eleven in Austin against Texas in the start prior, so he may be able to recover against an inconsistent Seattle lineup.
