Oakland dropped to 1-1 after spanking for the Angels. The Athletics looked just as they did in game one, they weren’t as lucky this time around, as Los Angeles would pour it on rookie pitcher Shintaro Fujinami.

Ken Waldichuk will pitch for Oakland. The second-year pitched endured his fair share of his growing pains during his rookie season, but there’s optimism in the clubhouse that he can grow into a reliable arm in the rotation. Waldichuk went 2-2, with a 4.93 ERA, and 33 strikeouts.
