The Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels face off on Sunday in an MLB showdown at Angel Stadium. The Angels have won the first two games of this series. 

The Rangers come into this game with a 66-91 record overall and it doesn’t look like they are going to finish their season on a strong note. The Rangers offense has been fine this season, but the pitching has been a big issue for this team. They are currently giving up 4.62 runs per game which is 23rd in the league. Adolis Garcia has had a big season with the offense hitting 26 home runs and driving in 98 RBIs so far this year. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Angels who sit with a 72-86 record overall this season, but they have looked good in these two games.  The Angels offense overall is averaging 3.86 runs per game which is 25th in the league. The pitching is giving up 4.16 runs per game which is 11th. Mike Trout has missed a big part of the season but he has hit 38 home runs and driven in 78 RBIs.

On the mound for the Angels will be Tucker Davidson who sits with a 2-7 record and an ERA of 6.80. In his last start against the Texas Rangers he went five innings giving up five hits and three runs.
